I grew up in the UK with  a sense of adventure and curiosity, political awareness, and an early-developed ability to read.

As a child I was fascinated by the images in a book about Amazonian tribes, at age eleven I read “The Granta Book of Reportage” from cover to cover, and my obsession with the rest of the world and different cultures and places has not ceased.

I now try to travel as much as I can, and to learn from news reports, documentaries and other people whilst in the UK.

This blog will hopefully pass on some of the things I learn, and inspire others to look more closely at the news and the world around them.
